Technology First
The journey of Vision Rx Lab began with its founder, Mr. B.K. Gupta, who started hand-grinding lenses in the 1960s. Recognizing the importance of technology, Mr Gupta’s son, Sanjiv Kumar Gupta, who was studying engineering at the time, went to receive state-of-the-art training from Satisloh in Germany.
This marked the beginning of a long-standing partnership between Vision RX Lab and Satisloh, as they worked together to bring advanced machinery and operational excellence to India.
Working Together
Satisloh has supported Vision Rx Lab with machinery since 1986, creating a relationship spanning almost four decades. With a complicated product mix, including 15 different AR coating stacks and 15 mirror coating stacks and 40 progressive designs, Vision Rx Lab relies on Satisloh’s machines to support its complex production requirements.
The machines enable Vision Rx Lab to operate at full capacity while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Satisloh’s quick response to any issues, coupled with the professionalism and expertise of Vision Rx Lab’s own technicians, has ensured that operations remain smooth and efficient.
Most of the company’s managers have been there for over 20 years. They are highly skilled in operating the Satisloh machines, allowing them to resolve issues in-house with ease.
Over the years, Vision Rx Lab has stayed up to date with the latest advancements from Satisloh, often collaborating and testing new machines and technologies for the company. For instance, Vision Rx Lab played a crucial role in the large-scale production trial of Satisloh’s new automated blocking machines, showcasing their trust in Satisloh’s commitment to quality.
