Excellent performance and durability of ophthalmic lenses starts with applying a hard coat that offers exceptional scratch resistant protection. Satisloh has two options: thermal dip coating and UV spin coating. Both of these provide the highest level anti-reflective adhesion and scratch resistance on ophthalmic lenses.

  • UV Spin Coating - less complex production and economical investment with the highest process speed. Can be fully automated and labs can achieve extremely high scratch-resistance.
  • Thermal Dip Coating - coats both sides of uncoated lenses and provides maximum scratch resistance and uniform performance on front and back. This is the most economical solution for high volume labs that can coat in batches.
