Satisloh GmbH supports charity campaign “Johanniter Christmas Truckers”
Monday, 14th of December Bianka Frech (Human Resources) and René Leroux (COO Satisloh Group / Managing Director) handed over 52 parcels and a check for people in need.
In 2020 everyone around the world faced challenges and some people were more adversely affected than others from the impacts of the pandemic.
Satisloh GmbH in Wetzlar, Germany decided to support those who are in particularly great need through the “Johanniter Christmas Truckers”, an initiative of the “Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.v.” (Accident assistance). This charity has been active in a wide variety of social and charitable areas for more than 65 years, in the tradition of the Protestant Order of St. John, whose primary focus is helping people for centuries. The truckers have been taking packages to Eastern Europe on the 2nd day of Christmas for 25 years.
In a short time, the employees of Satisloh GmbH in Germany collected 52 parcels that are now on their way to bring joy to people in need. And that was not all! René Leroux, COO Satisloh Group / Managing Director, donated an additional EUR 1,500 on behalf of Satisloh.
“We are happy to support this important work for people in need and are pleased to be able to contribute to this. Many thanks to the Satisloh team and to the Johanniter for this extraordinary commitment,” said Leroux at the package handover at the company's location in Wetzlar, Monday 14th of December.
